For years we have seen how unemployment has caused a high rate of poverty in South Africa. The misinformation on unemployment in South Africa is that foreign nationals take majority of the jobs in the country, which we think is false. Many South Africans were not skilled enough or educated enough to be employed and this was and partly still is as a result of the unjust laws of apartheid. The absence of expertise or education led to most people turning to crime as a way to generate income and feed their families. Most people especially youths have acquired an education over the years but it’s still difficult to find a decent job.
